Our Mission:
To provide a creative environment where preschoolers can explore the wonders of God and discover the love of Jesus

Ankeny Free Church is committed to providing a safe, clean, and caring environment for your preschooler.  We want to help your child grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.  Our goal is that each child develops a love for God that will last a lifetime. 

Children grow in leaps and bounds, and they need to grow in the knowledge of the Lord. In Truths Treehouse they will explore God’s Word through stories, puppet skits and games.  They will express themselves through music, motion, crafts and group discussions.

We encourage the children to build friendships and apply Christian values into their lives.  We want to help them to be thankful for all God has given us, learn how to help others, and make wise choices.   

In Deuteronomy 6:5-7, we are commanded to love God and then to teach our children to love Him. God has appointed parents as the primary biblical instructors of their children, to bring them up in the training of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). At AFC, we want to partner with you to accomplish this important task. 

We ask that parents participate as volunteers in the classroom and be part of this growing ministry team.  To get started, pick up an application in our church office. We invite you to attend one of our monthly orientation and training meetings to find out more.  It is such a blessing to make a positive impact on a child’s life!
