Dear Praying Friends,

So many things have happened since our last prayer letter! True, our home assignment here in the U.S. is turning our to be a busy one, but it is also turning out  to be an encouraging and refreshing one as well. In the middle of all our packing and traveling, we are finding our spirits encouraged, our partnership with each of you strengthened and our hearts challenged anew in this ministry that God has given us!   

Two months ago Geoff was able to accompany his dad to Indonesia. They were there for 6 weeks and were able to get a lot accomplished. During his time in Indonesia Geoff was able to:

• Sit in on some meetings where the group discussed how to effectively evaluate a church. He came away with a lot of good advice that will be beneficial to our team in the future.
• Visit with and encourage couples new to the field as well as those who had been there a while.
• See God challenge his own heart through the life example of a fellow Wana believer who willingly gave his life for the Lord.
• See the Wana New Testament translation completed!
• See his Wana friends again after 10 years of being apart.
• And of course, enjoy the great Indonesian food and coffee.

Geoff found the trip to be very beneficial and we are so grateful to all of you who gave above and beyond so that he was able to go! Thank You!!

While Geoff was gone, Tina was given the opportunity to share at a ladies retreat. She was able to share about our Quechua ministry as well as some personal things that God's been teaching her these past four years on the field. She especially enjoyed being able to chat with so many ladies in between the planned events.

This past week we were also able to participate in a missions conference in Iowa. Again we found ourselves challenged to continue on, not just in reaching the Quechua for the Lord, but also in glorifying God in the "every day" things. We also enjoyed meeting the other missionaries and seeing what God is doing around the world. And we enjoyed meeting so many people from the church. We left feeling very blessed and encouraged!

As we look ahead to the weeks and months to come, we find they are full of opportunities for us to share about the Quechua ministry.  Please pray for safety as we travel around the country.  Pray also that we would be a challenge and encouragement to those we meet.

As we gather together this month with our families to thank God for His many blessings, please know that we are very thankful for each of you and your prayers and support!  Thanks so much for your partnership in this ministry!
