MOPS offers support to moms of preschoolers and their preschool age children.  How?

Frequently asked questions:

·  When do you meet?

The Ankeny chapter meets at the Ankeny Free Church every second Friday of the month from 9:15-11:30 for the main meeting.  We meet the fourth Friday of most months for a discussion group.

·  What will I do at MOPS?

Our discussion time is an intimate, accepting atmosphere in a small group setting and gives moms the chance to share their successes, failures, questions, and concerns.  You will hear speakers present topics that celebrate motherhood and meet a mom’s unique needs.  You’ll have a sense of accomplishment as you try new projects and ideas in creative activities.

·  What do you offer for my preschooler?

Children are cared for in a program called MOPPETS.  Newborn to 35 months are in a nursery-like setting.  Children ages 3-6 are involved in various activities including:  music, crafts, bible stories, French instruction, free play, and play-doh time.
