Discovery (A Pathway To Involvement)

Discovery is a relaxed, informal introduction to Ankeny Free Church for those who want to integrate more fully into church life.

Discovery 1 - Who we are! (Our Mission)
Meeting the 2nd Sunday morning each month at 10:30 a.m. (during second service), Discovery 1 is a way for you to encounter our history, mission, structure, and ministries. You’ll be introduced to members of our ministry staff who stand ready to serve and equip you with a wide range of resources available for every member of your family. Your questions and comments are welcome - we’ll do our utmost to provide the answers and connections that will serve you best. And, you’ll also have the opportunity to get acquainted with other newcomers who may become new friends as you discover Ankeny Free Church together.

Discovery 2 - What we believe! (Our Statement of Faith)
The second leg of the journey - Discovery 2 - will walk you through our Statement of Faith.  It is a prerequisite for those who want to pursue church membership; however, attending the class does not obligate you in any way to pursue membership.

The Discovery connection point will enhance your comfort level and answer your questions, while helping you establish personal relationships and prepare for meaningful involvement in the life of the church. The ultimate goal of Discovery 1 & 2, as with every other ministry of Ankeny Free Church, is to encourage you to experience in a deeper way the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
